One of the reasons that kisses are so pleasurable is that our brain can process a lot of sensory input from there. You also see that homunculus’ hands are large, and again the reason is just the same: the brain devotes a lot of cells to processing the sensation of your fingers and hands. “By comparison, the body of homunculus is receives less attention from the brain, though we see that the feet are disproportionately large as well.” |
