Viki uses a hacksaw in different ways. First she holds the saw still and moves a block of wood up and down against the blade, then she uses it in a more conventional manner where the saw is moving against a fixed piece of wood. Viki is clearly interested in the blade and licks it several times in this short clip. Note the different grips she uses on the saw. She holds the frame opposite the handle, the handle itself, the handle and the frame, and even uses a two-handed grip on the top of the frame. Although she produces some authentic sawing motions, it is not clear that Viki is really making much progress in cutting through her board. But remember, she could not have been older than 6 years in this clip. How good at carpentry were YOU at the age of six?
