Here at age 4 1/2, we see Viki easily accomplishing a task that she had considerable difficulty with just a year earlier. She grasps the handle, lifts the pot off the table, and fills her cup nicely.

Observe, if you will, how Viki holds the cup as she approaches the coffee pot. She holds it in her mouth for a while, to allow her to use all four limbs to walk over to the pot. Also note her grasp on the coffee pot handle: she wraps her long fingers through the handle, but her thumb is at the top of the handle, not on the other side.

By the way, this is likely the same percolator we saw in the previous clip. Here the top segment has been removed. Now the handle is nicely located to lift the pot properly.
