"Experience is a dear teacher," Benjamin
Franklin once said, "but a fool will learn from no other."
All the simplest creatures can learn from the
environment, thereby improving their ability to find food, shelter,
and avoid predators. Here, we explore learning from various perspectives,
including operant conditioning, learning from observation, and
some mechanisms that may underlie our ability to learn. This unit is still in its early stages of development.
